Proactive Strategies

We're excited to kick off our new BSP Professional Development Series with our Proactive Strategies training. This purpose of the BSP Professional Development series is to provide BSP’s opportunities to advance their knowledge of PBS and brush up on topics covered during our Foundations of PBS course.

The proactive strategies training will address ways to decrease or eliminate the need to engage in challenging behaviors before they occur. We will focus how to identify and implement effective and meaningful proactive strategies to help the people you serve live the life they want to live.

After attending, you will be able to:

  • Identify the steps to achieve team buy-in
  • Create proactive strategies based on identified antecedents
  • Describe the three steps to teach proactive strategies
