Using the Maps Process in Wraparound

After attending, you will be able to:

  • Explain the difference between a systems-centered approach and a person-centered approach.
  • Identify the steps involved in each of the following person-centered planning tools: Circle of Support and MAP,
  • Utilize person-centered planning techniques to involve individuals in planning for services and integration into community settings, and
  • Provide instruction and techniques to empower persons with disabilities and their teams in developing goals, identifying needs, and generating action plans.

Audience: Safe at Home & Children's Mental Health Wraparound Facilitators
